about

For this release, Bobby decided to mine the Great American Songbook, looking to play classic Americana. By this, his fifth recording with his trio, Broom felt confident in the group's rapport and sound, enough to feel that they wouldn't recreate run-of-the-mill versions of these tunes, many of which have been recorded so often in the annals of jazz music.
